Many new and exciting things occurred at Shachihata throughout 2023. Among them, we saw various changes, including the appointment of Masaaki (“Masa”) Okuno as President and Chief Executive Officer of Shachihata (U.S.A.), marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey. Okuno’s tenure with Shachihata spans two decades, during which he has undertaken various pivotal roles, culminating in his most recent position as an Executive Officer of the esteemed Global Business Division of Shachihata.
We also released many exciting new products during 2023, including the world’s first and only Colour Palette STAMPER; the versatility of this stamper is impressive. It enables the user to change the color of the entire stamped image or selectively add colors to specific areas, giving complete control over each design. The process is straightforward, ensuring an enjoyable crafting experience. One of the standout features of the Colour Palette STAMPER is its extensive range of ink colors. With 36 different colors available, there is a broad palette to choose from, allowing creativity to flourish and offering endless possibilities for arts and crafts projects.
We also introduced the versatile Professional Series line of markers; these professional markers for tradespeople are built to last, with superior ink and long-lasting barrels that can withstand any situation. This Professional Series includes various markers, such as the 2.3mm Bullet Tip Builders markers, the 1.5mm Bullet Tip Concrete markers, as well as the 0.4-1.0mm Bullet Tip Twin-Nib Electricians markers, that are non-conductive and designed for use on plastic, wires, plasterboard, and electrical tags.
At this time, we are excited about the recent introduction of our IREGUI markers, specifically designed for fishermen and to provide a convenient solution for changing lure colors and accents while fishing. The IREGUI markers come in various colors, such as red, yellow, and black. Additionally, they are available in UV-emitting colors: glow yellow, glow pink, glow orange, glow blue, glow green, and glow clear for deep water use. All markers contain proprietary permanent dyestuff ink. This wide range of colors allows for multiple options when it comes to marking fishing lures. Add or highlight eyes, spots, stripes, scales, and gill plates to create the desired visual appeal for attracting specific species of fish.
